to TOULOUSE, « la ville rose ».
On behalf of the french Organizing Committee and the Conference Office,
we are happy to welcome you to the Seventh Conference on Clifford Algebras
and their Applications in Mathematical Physics and to "Université Paul
Sabatier de Toulouse".
As a sequel to the 2002 Cookeville conference icca6, the
main goals of the organizing committee have been to expand traditional areas
by including new areas such as Clifford symplectic algebras and star-products.
We hope that you will find the following conference presentation scientifically
broad and attractive.
Thanks are due to "Université Paul Sabatier" and, more precisely
to "Institut de Mathématique", and to "Ecole Nationale Supérieure
de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace" and last but not least to "Mairie
de Toulouse" for their enthusiastic supports.

ORGANIZATION
Dates of the Conference : Saturday 21 May
2005 to Sunday 29 May 2005, included.
Preparatory conferences and lectures: Thursday 19 May 2005, Tuesday 20 May 2005.
Due to additional events, there will be 13 half-days for the presentation
of lectures.
Registration and welcoming of participants: Wednesday 18 May 2005 (in the
afternoon or the evening) for participants attendant to preparatory conferences
or Friday 20 May 2005 for the others.
Departure of participants: Sunday
29 May 2005 in the afternoon or in the evening.
There will be plenary lectures scheduled in 60
minutes and parallel sessions with lectures
scheduled in 30 minutes. The Organizing
Committee has choosen the following scientific areas:

All the lectures will be located
in "Université Paul Sabatier" and "Ecole Nationale Supérieure
de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace" (in the neighbourhood of "Université Paul Sabatier").
Corresponding registration fees for the congress will be soon communicated.
ACCOMODATION
90 individual rooms in "Ecole
Nationale Supérieure de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace" are proposed :
18 - 20 € by night. Other
possibilities will be soon developed in
good but not expensive hotels in the neighbourhood of the Conference.

I)General Information
A)Duration and Aims
A Preparatory Conference
will be held on Thursday, May 19, 2005 and Friday, May 20, 2005.
The Conference proper begins on Saturday, May 21, 2005, in
the morning and ends on Sunday, May 29, in the evening.
The reception of participants takes place at Sup Aero, 10 Avenue Edouard
Belin, 31055 Toulouse Cedex, France, on Wednesday, May 18, 2005, in the afternoon
for congressists attendant the Preparatory Conference, on Friday, May 20,
2005, in the afternoon for those attendant the Conference proper.
Congressists
may leave on Sunday, May 21, 2005, in the evening or stay overnight until
Monday, May 30, 2005, morning.
The
main themes of the Conference are the following:
Clifford Analysis, Clifford
Geometry, Structures (algebraic, fundamental, spinorial, ...), Physics, Applications
(Informatics, ...), Didactics of Clifford Algebras.
Invited speakers will give talks of 50 minutes, with 10 minutes of discussion.
Ordinary speakers will give talks of 30 minutes,
with 10 minutes of discussion, in parallel session.
Talks and plenary lectures will be given at Sup Aero, 10 Avenue Edouard
Belin, 31055 Toulouse Cedex, France, providing appropriate facilities for the congress.
The Conference Office will take place at Sup Aero “salle Clément
Ader”.
B)Accomodation for participants
90 single rooms are avalaible in the student-house of Sup Aero at the
following rate of 18,20 € per night. We have obtained the
rate of 10 € per night for a stay of 10 nights or more. There will be some double rooms (3)
at the cost of 31 €.
Single rooms,with toilets and showers at each floor
, with sheets given and without towels; double rooms with individual toilet
and shower, with sheets and towels given and with a television set given.
Other single or double rooms are avalaible at the student-house of INSA
and IAS (9 double rooms at the following rate 211 € per 12 nights for one
person and 308 € per 12 nights for two people at the student-house of INSA;
the price of a single room (20) at IAS is 20 € per night and the price of
the breakfast is 2 € in each case).
In
the student house of INSA the situation is the same as in the student house
of Sup Aero. In the student house of IAS single rooms can be obtained with
sheets given ,without towels (toilets and shower cabinets at each floor).
Hotel
Formule 1 has 50 rooms which can accomodate one, two or three people at a
uniform price of 29 € per night, the
price of the breakfast is 3,40 €.
Supaero, I.N.S.A. and I.A.S. are close together .
Moreover,
at Ramonville St Agne, near the campus,
two hotels have rooms at 40 to 50 € per night for two people.
The
price of lunch and dinner is 8,40 € (5 components, hors-d’oeuvre,
dish with vegetables, cheese, dessert and a drink included, beer or coca or
little bottle), and
the cost of the breakfast is 2,20 €.
C)Registration fees
For
an ordinary speaker or participant the registration fee will be 190 €. For
an invited plenary speaker, the fee will be 120 €. This
rate also applies to students and retired participants.
The registration fee for the Preparatory Conference will be 30 €; this price includes the cost of a booklet written by the speakers.
No additional fee is needed for those presenting posters.
Those who have financial difficulties may request support from the organizers
(see below the attached form).
The
organizers are sorry for the rate of the registration fees but they point
out that it is compensated by the rather low rate of the accomodation.
According to the advice of I.A.B. (International Advisory Board) the invitations
to come for plenary speakers and invited speakers will be sent soon.
Registration should
be made by March 31 , 2005.
After this date, registrations
fees will be 10 € more.

D)Social activities
On Saturday, May 21, 2005, a visit has been arranged to “La Cité de l’Espace de Toulouse” (Space city) at the rate of about 16 € per person
(for 180 participants at less).
A reception at the “Capitole”, the town-hall of Toulouse has been arranged.
In the evening, the organizers will propose to the congressists to visit
Toulouse by groups of about 40 participants.
In the second week, one day (still to be fixed) will be devoted to a tour
of GAILLAC, CORDES and ALBI, medieval cities in the neighbourhood of Toulouse with
reception at the town-halls of these cities.
A conference dinner will
be held on Saturday, May 28, 2005 (the price is about 20 € by person).
A concert has been arranged
on Sunday, May 22, 2005 (the price of tickets will be announced soon).

II) Preparatory Conference
The lectures are aimed at a wide audience of mathematicians,
physicists, chemists, biologists, specialists of didactics and epistemology.
The presentation will consist of lectures
of two hours in the following areas:
Basic algebraic structures, Physics, Geometry, Biology, Informatics, Didactics,
Epistemology.
These lectures may interest research students,
student teachers and existing teachers.
The registration fee for the Preparatory Conference will be 30 €; this price includes the cost of a booklet written by the speakers.
