<<Clifford geometric algebra of the Euclidean plane E2>>

Abstract: This algebra invented by W. K. Clifford in 1976 was published in 1882 and in another paper in 1878. The success of the generalizations to other dimensions of this algebra became much more fruithful after rediscovery by physicists such as P.A.M. Dirac in 1917. These algebras appear as very powerful in different areas such as the study of elementary particles and the construction of new cosmologies.
We present a simple construction of the Clifford algebra Cl2 of the Euclidean vectorial plane E2 and study its main properties.
